Product information

The KITO LB lever hoist is particularly suitable for heavy-duty towing, lifting and hoisting applications. For use in the toughest industrial challenges. This is the case, for example, in shipbuilding where plates are pulled, where beams and end supports need to be connected and where precision work in confined spaces is required. For its sophisticated industrial design, the LB received the coveted "Excellent Product Award" from the Japan Society of Mechanical Engineers (JSME) in 2009.

The LB ratchet hoist is available in capacities from 800 kg to 9,000 kg. With one load chain suitable for capacities up to 3,200 kg, with two load chains suitable for capacities up to 6,300 kg and three load chains suitable for capacities up to 9,000 kg. This makes KITO one of the few to offer ratchet hoists with 1,000 kg and 2,500 kg working loads.

The LB has a considerably lower weight and narrower dimensions compared with comparable ratchet hoists, which means that minimum force exertion can be combined with optimum hoisting dynamics.

With standard ratchet hoists, the operator can accidentally activate the freewheel, which in the worst case scenario can cause the load to fall down when it is too light. This is impossible with the KITO LB because it is equipped with a freewheel button. Only when triggered by light pulling, the freewheel is activated and the chain is ready for adjustment.
