If you are looking for a hand chain hoist that already works from 2% of the working load, we recommend the William Hackett SS-C4. This unique hand chain hoist is extremely reliable in lifting and lowering loads thanks to the patented Dual Anti-Lock Break System. With a working temperature of -40°C to +120°C, this powerhouse is ideally suited to hoisting operations in the offshore industry.
For many years, the British family company William Hackett has been developing a specific range of hoisting and lifting equipment for the offshore sector. They have applied this knowledge to the development of the second generation of SS-C4 chain hoists. A hoist specially developed for the offshore sector.
The SS C4 hoist is equipped as standard with double heavy duty forged safety pawls (four in total). The design of the 4 pawls is unique and patented. As opposed to the usual 1 or 2 pawls in a hoist, the 4 pawls ensure finer adjustment and more tensioning force, while maintaining the engagement of the pawl on the gear. The entire hoist is made of stainless steel. The hook is fixed to the housing with head screws and Nyloc lock nuts. All brake parts are protected against corrosion.
